Chestnut Grafted on Chestnuts producers hybrids and edible mushrooms Boletus edulis, Boletus erythropus, Boletus pinnophilus, Russula Cyanoxantha, Russula virescens.
These grafted chestnut trees were selected eight of the best traditional varieties of the Iberian Peninsula and brown hybrid clones, each and grafted on a hybrid variety resistant paint.
Chestnut varieties grafted: JUDIA, BOAVENTURA, LONGAL, BOUCHE DE BETIZAC, MARSOL, PRECOCE MINGOULE, MARIGOULE.
All Chestnut trees were inoculated with fungal mycelium mycorrhizal producers of edible mushrooms of the following species: Boletus edulis, Boletus erythropus, Billets pinnophilus, cyanoxantha Russula and Russula virescens.
Mushroom production (up to 150 kg / ha per year): the production of edible wild mushrooms (edulis boletus) begins when the tree reaches 6 - 8 years old.
Nut production: (up to 4000 kg / ha per year): the Nut production begins when the tree reaches 3 years of age
wood production: Noble wood.
planting dates: from December to April.
Plantation: 6-10 m for optimal production of mushrooms and chestnuts and wood.
Growth: The grafted chestnut trees on hybrids resistant paint live up to 1,000 years and can reach 30 m high.
Soils / Watering: needs rich soil nutrients, preferably acids. It is recommended weekly watering in the summer during the first 3 years of life.
